Powerhouse Of Women Worldwide (POWW)
The vision with POWW is to create the largest global network of women, collaborating, and taking strategic action for sustained positive social change. We’re driven by our mission to be the most significant female-led force for positive social action and the overall betterment of humanity. Despite billions being spent by charities, problems that affect local and global communities persist. There is an increasing interest in more innovative, solution-focused models of operation. We recognise that a limited amount of effort focuses on feasible, sustainable, long-term solutions, and this is what we aim for. To this end, we aim to form partnerships, building our network and simultaneously working with a think-tank of change-makers, advisors, and a global community of problem-solvers to initiate action toward sustainable solutions, eventually utilizing an incentivized problem-solving model.
Problem Solver Central
This strategic hub for the global non-profit community will soon be launched. The platform connects people and projects with networks of skills and support, and allows for collaborative problem-solving on a global scale. It also offers a library of resources from experts in the sector.
We know that there are tens of thousands of people and projects all over the world, doing good work, often with similar aims and in similar fields. We also know that it’s more common than not that they all start from scratch, spend time, energy and resources building the networks and gaining access to the communities and strategic partners that are necessary to make meaningful progress. Problem Solver Central offers a solution by amplifying the impact of engagements through strategic alignment and more collaborative interventions, in a very simple, direct way.
Blackstone Amphitheatre for Humanity and Graciela Blackstone
Our work with Blackstone Amphitheater for Humanity first began when we consulted with Graciela on investment options, marketing, exposure and strategy. This led to a new strategy to secure investment and facilitation of introductions to connections such as the billionaire, Alki David. After working on the project, recognising the potential for positive impact of the project, and seeing the passion and commitment with which Graciela Blackstone persevered in her efforts to see the project succeed, we decided that we would continue to support the project, being a spokesperson and acting as international liaison, as well as supporting strategy on a pro-bono basis, until the project funding is released.
